Russian Flat Racecourses' Classification

On the 16th of February 2009 the National Horsebreeding Union commissioners publicized the first classification of Russian Flat racecourses. To be classified each racecourse had to be registered and licensed by the Ministry of Agriculture and there turned out to be eight of those.

Having evaluated all the aspects commissioners came up with the following classification:
First Category:
Central Moscow Hippodrome
Pyatigorsk Hippodrome
Kazan International Equestrian Complex
Second Category:
Krasnodar Hippodrome
Nalchik Hippodrome
Rostov Hippodrome
Akbuzat Hippodrome in Ufa
Third Category:
Samara Hippodrome
According to the Rules of Racing races at all other racetracks so far should be considered unofficial.
